Deadlines
Hieronder een call for papers van Domitor voor master studenten. Aangezien de papers in het Engels geschreven moeten worden, is de tekst in het Engels afgedrukt.
Domitor, the International Society of the Study of Early Cinema, is pleased to announce its yearly graduate student writing award of 500 USD. The topic can be any subject related to cinema before approximately 1918.
Contestants must be enrolled in a graduate program, or be independent scholars. The winner(s) must be members of Domitor at the time of the award presentation in order to qualify.
For membership details, including students rates, contact Pierre Véronneau. The deadline to submit a paper is June 1, 2005.
Essays in all languages, with English or French preferred, may be submitted to Prof. Charles Keil. The winner(s) will be announced during the Pordenone Silent Film Festival in Italy, October 2005. It is not necessary to attend the festival to receive the award.
